EEL THIS YEAR-JUNE 2003
Mr.
Tony Attrill from Southampton landed
a personal best conger of 84lb,
which is a great qualifier
for Tony to join the British
Conger Club.
Tony caught the fish on 30lbs braided
line and a 30lbs class rod and
reel. The conger fell for a pout bait
using an 8.0 hook and took
around 25 minutes to get it up and
had several dives back down.The eel
was netted , photographed
and returned alive.
