SECOND DAY OF THE CONGER HUNT The second day we had another 30 Congers. The biggest fell to Andy Fowler, who caught a 75lb eel which is also a pretty good fish. Andy is already a member of the British Conger Club, so he will be getting a Gold Medal for this eel. We also had Cod's to 17lb, 19lb and 20lb, and a few more doubles aswell. This month (July 2004) has been good to us with some great Conger and Cod fishing, with 5 of the eels being around the 70lb mark. We have also started getting some Black Bream showing, which can only get better during August and September. << Back to the index page
