FIRST
DAY OF THE CONGER HUNT

Matthews had 2 days of Conger fishing
booked.
The biggest eel fell to Keith Miller,
which was a staggering 90lb'er.
The Conger had a 26.5 inch girth and was
6ft 11 inches long. This was Ocean Warrior
2's biggest eel this year, so far. The
Conger was netted, weighed, photographed
and released alive.
The trip also produced another 53 eels,
with 50's, 60's and 70lb's, along with a
few Black Bream, Cod's and Tub
Gurnards.
The biggest Tub was caught by Chris
Hancock which weighed in at 4lb 6oz, which
is a lovely fish.
