COD FISHING - DECEMBER 2004
St
Dunstan's Fishing Club have had some nice
Cod's on the rough ground. The biggest was
Jack Fulling's 21lb Cod which was nice to
see as he had flown down from Scotland for
the trip.
Also from St Dunstan's was Cliff. He
caught this 15lb Cod and quite a few
Whiting during the day.
It is always a pleasure to take members of
St Dunstan's out for the day as we always
have an enjoyable day with them as they
are a regular crew throughout the
year.
Nick from London is a regular angler with
me, had a nice surprise one day when he
thought he had another Cod on, but found
this 7lb 8oz Bass on the end of his rod.
It fell for a lump of cuttle. Nick also
had a Cod of around 14lb and plenty of
Whiting throughout the day which kept them
all busy.
I am looking forward to getting back out
on to the offshore wrecks for the first
run of Cod and Pollack at the end of
January. But better through February and
March as the fish are full of Roe at that
time of year. Looking forward to getting
some more good pictures. Let's hope that
you will be on the latest news next
year!
Wishing you all a Happy Christmas and a
Happy New Year and will catch up again in
2005.
Regards, Dave - Skipper
