WHAT'S FISHING IN JULY 2005
July got off to a slow start, however, Lee Morrell from Hoddesdon in Hertfordshire caught his first Conger of 60lb. This was caught using a mackerel flapper on an offshore wreck.

Harry Hewitt caught this personal best Conger of 75lb, which was a gold medal catch. He caught it using a mackerel flapper.

Mark Rogers caught his best Pollack on a cuttle fish while he was fishing for Congers. He was fishing with Harry above, but caught this Pollack of 17lb on the offshore wreck.

Also on the ground fishing side, we have recently still been getting Smooth-Hounds, Dogfish with the odd Tope and this week we had a 5lb 7oz Turbot which was rare as we don't see many of them coming up.

Harry Hewitt also managed to catch these 14lb Pollack and a 15lb Ling on mackerel flappers, also while he was fishing for Congers.
