FISHING PICKING UP THROUGH JUNE 2008
It has been a little while since I have added a latest news, mainly due to 2008 starting off very slowly due to the weather. However, June has brought some great catches.
This is Richard Alan who caught a nice Conger of 71lb. It was caught on cuttlefish on an offshore wreck. We also lost another one the same size which spat out the hook on the surface because of a tangle. The Conger was returned to sea alive. The day also brought some nice Cod to take home.

This is Leon Malone who caught his personal best Cod of 24lb.
It was caught using a pirk offshore.

Andy Fowler who is a regular aboard Ocean Warrior 3 had this Conger of 64lb. Not his personal best, although a good eel. It was caught using cuttlefish as the Mackerel was scarce.
The crew also caught 30 eels on the day and all of which were returned to sea alive.

Spangles caught a nice Pollack of 14lb using a pirk offshore.

Niel Ceating caught his first ever Conger of 56lb, which put up a good fight. It was caught on cuttlefish and returned to sea alive.
